1. All returned items must have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.  This number should be marked on the outside of the shipping container and referenced on the paperwork accompanying the return. Returns without prior authorization and no RMA number will be refused.

2. Return shipments must be prepaid.  Collect shipments will be refused.

3. A & J Fittings original packing slip, invoice, or photocopy of same must accompany all returns.

4. A restocking charge of 25% applies to all returns.  Restocking charges for special order material will be assessed at the time of the return.

5. Damaged items presented for return will be assessed the applicable restocking charge plus all costs to return the item to “like new” condition.

6. Incorrectly ordered material will be assessed the applicable restocking charge unless an offsetting order is placed at the time the return is requested.

FREIGHT ALLOWANCE:  All prices quoted are for material only.  There is no freight included in the quoted price.  We will attempt to route shipments in the method that will result in the lowest cost unless otherwise instructed.  All shipments will be made collect unless otherwise stipulated on the purchase order in which case you will be invoiced for all transportation charges. Title and risk of loss or damage to the material passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.

TERMS:  Terms of payment are net 30 days if you have an open account in good standing.  All others must pay total charges in advance of shipment.  Minimum order is $10.00 USD net value.

PRICES:  List prices are subject to discount.  All prices are subject to change without notice.  Prices quoted do not include Federal, State or Use, Occupation or Privilege Taxes, based on or measured by sales, which tax, or taxes, will be added to prices where applicable.

PAYMENT:  Should be made to the office from which the invoice is issued, in United States Dollars, free of exchange or collection charges.

DESIGN:  We reserve the right to make alterations in design without notice.

SHIPMENTS:  All statements of prospective date of shipments are estimated.  We use our best efforts to ship within the time estimated.

FORCE MAJEURE:  The consequences, direct or indirect, of labor troubles, fires, accidents, floods, hostilities, shortage of transportation, failure, suspension or curtailment of production due to shortage of supply of raw materials, or other economic factors, Government acts or requirements and any and all like or different causes beyond the control of the parties hereto shall excuse performance by either party to the extent by which performance is prevented hereby.  A & J Fittings Inc. may, during any period of shortage due to any of said causes, prorate its supply of such goods among its buyers in such a manner as may be deemed equitable in the sole judgment of A & J Fittings Inc.

CLAIMS:  Must be made within 48 hours after receipt of material.

CANCELLATIONS:  Firm orders, which have been accepted, are subject to cancellation or changes in specifications only on the basis of our being reimbursed for costs incurred.

INSPECTION:  When orders are accepted subject to buyer’s inspection, the material must be inspected and accepted before shipment is made.

WARRANTY:  Manufacturers warranty is in effect on material against defects and workmanship.
